Offices, schools closed in parts of Taiwan due to lingering effects of storm

Taiwan's Kaohsiung City and Taitung County have announced partial office and school closures on Tuesday at a number of locations that are forecast to continue experiencing the periphery effects of Typhoon Haikui, which was downgraded to a tropical storm early Monday, while Yilan County will suspend just one school.
