Paraguayan President-elect to visit Taiwan for five days before assuming office

Paraguayan President-elect Santiago Peña will be visiting Taiwan from Tuesday through Saturday before taking office next month, as the two allies are set to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) announced on Sunday.
