Legislature revises law to set life terms for repeat drunk drivers

Taiwan's Legislature passed an amendment to the Criminal Code Friday setting a maximum punishment of life imprisonment for repeat drunk drivers who cause death while driving under the influence (DUI) within five years of conviction.
