Taiwanese entertainers Hank Chen, Lulu Huang register marriage

Taipei, Oct. 20 (CNA) Taiwanese entertainers Hank Chen (陳漢典) and Lulu Huang (黃路梓茵) officially registered their marriage on Monday, a month after announcing their engagement, with family, friends, and their talent agency head Isaac Chen (陳鎮川) in attendance to offer congratulations.

"We really got married! He's now officially my husband," Huang said through her agent.

She added that the couple chose the date simply because both were available, joking that "not even the stormy weather could stop us from getting married."

Isaac Chen celebrated the occasion by gifting the couple a golden shovel, a traditional gift to wish newlyweds good luck in conceiving soon.

Huang, 34, and Chen, 41, announced their engagement on Sept. 11 by posting photos on social media.
