Pact with China will minimize threat, boost opportunity: consultant

Pang Chien-kuo, a consultant with the quasi-official Strait Exchange Foundation, said Thursday that Taiwan would benefit from an economic cooperation framework agreement (ECFA) with China, as this would increase Taiwan's economic opportunities while reducing the threats posed by China.
