Manufacturers, travel agencies put more workers on furlough

Manufacturers and travel agencies placed more of their workers on unpaid leave programs over the past week, pushing the total number of furloughed workers in Taiwan to nearly 16,000, the Ministry of Labor (MOL) said Monday.
