Taiwanese forces place explosives in Tamsui River in Han Kuang drills

Taiwan’s Army detonated several C4 explosives in the Tamsui River on Saturday to simulate defending against a Chinese incursion targeting Taipei during the annual Han Kuang military exercises.\n\nA group of sappers conducted the drill by placing barriers and explosives in the river, in an effort to prevent enemy forces from advancing along the waterway into the capital. Meanwhile, Patriot missile systems were deployed at a park in the city’s Dazhi District a day earlier as part of air defense preparations.
