Taiwan's locally developed vaccine rolled out

As of late August, more than 750,000 people in Taiwan had made an appointment to receive the locally produced Medigen vaccine and more than 650,000 had received a first dose. But that's a small percentage given there are over 9 million Taiwanese adults who still haven't received a first shot of any vaccine. They may be taking a wait and see attitude or prefer to get a vaccine that is proven to be effective.
