Around 1,500 Filipinos living in Taiwan attended a Christmas celebration in Taipei on Sunday, hosted by the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO), the Philippines’ de facto embassy in Taiwan, with less than two weeks to go until Christmas Day. At the event, which featured dancing, singing and a lucky draw, CNA spoke with participants about what the celebration meant to them as they prepared to spend Christmas in Taiwan.
