FDA mulls easing ban on pesticides used on Japanese strawberries

Taiwan is considering easing a ban on residues of two types of pesticides commonly used to treat Japanese strawberries, following a request by Japanese exporters in response to frequent seizures of the fruit at Taiwan's border, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Wednesday.
