Former Kuomintang (KMT) Central Standing Committee member Hsiao Ching-tien (蕭景田) was charged Thursday with breaching the Civil Servants Election and Recall Act for buying votes on behalf of Taipei City Councilor Lin Hsing-er (林杏兒) in the November 2022 local elections, according to Shilin District Prosecutors' Office.
