25 percent of suicides in 2016 in Taiwan involved seniors: center

Taiwan reported 976 suicides among senior citizens in 2016, accounting for about 25 percent of the total suicides in that year, according to statistics released Friday by the Taiwan Suicide Prevention Center (TSPC).
