Head of the Belgian Office in Taipei joined the Taichung Shopping Festival to promote Belgian cuisine.

Matthieu Baudouin A. Branders, head of the Belgian Office in Taipei, The sole European representative was invited by Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-Yen to shot a promotional video for attracting more foreign visitors. And Mr.Matthieu Branders joined with Mayor Lu to announce Taichung Shopping Festival starting, he was indeed the best spokespersons.

Mayor Lu said , this is a new record for the invitation of foreign representatives to participate in the filming of the Taichung Shopping Festival video. The Taichung Shopping Festival is gradually evolving into a leading consumer festival brand!

On the day of filming, Mr.Matthieu Branders was very kind and helpful by leaving from his Yangmingshan residence to Taichung in the early morning, ended at 9 p.m. The filming locations included many places, e.g., Lihpao Land Park、ABV Bar & Kitchen restaurant、Bravo Beer Lalaport. During the filming period, Mr. Matthieu Branders needed to change outfits according to the various filming locations. Even though the temperature reached as high as 35 degrees that day, he kept a smile throughout the entire filming process and friendly. Mr. Matthieu Branders and Mayor Lu have a strong friendship. They talked about the unique characteristics of Belgian beer and chocolate happily. It was an interesting experience for filming the video.

As a side note, Mr. Matthieu Branders with great enthusiasm when he introduced Belgiam’s famous food culture、renowned beer and various chocolate. The shooting activity further builded friendships between he and Mayor Lu. It’s surprising that Mr. Matthieu Branders is good at baking desserts. That day he brought a pie by himself for Mayor Lu. On the day, all are full of the joys of spring. They were very happy to work together on the day of the shoot.
