Ex-president's office dismisses rumors of failing health

Former President Lee Teng-hui's (李登輝) rehabilitation is proceeding smoothly, and he has no problem walking, sitting and eating, a spokesman for his office said Friday, dismissing rumors that Lee's health had taken a turn for the worse.
