Travel to U.S. drops to 20-year low despite visa waiver program

The number of Taiwanese travelers to the United States during the first nine months of 2013 dropped to 296,526, the lowest figure in 20 years for that period, despite Taiwan's entry to the U.S. visa waiver program (VWP) last November, according to Tourism Bureau data.
