DHA could prevent catheter-associated infections: NTU research

Research at National Taiwan University (NTU) has concluded that docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) combined with a small molecule medicine eradicates bacteria biofilms on catheters, which could help prevent catheter-associated infections common among hospital inpatients.
