U.S. to highlight Taiwan's bid prior to WHA assembly: Official

The United States will soon speak on behalf of Taiwan's bid to take part as an observer at the World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva later this month, a U.S. official said at a Senate subcommittee hearing Tuesday.
