New DPP chairman to set up party-government platform

Newly elected chairman of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰) said Monday he plans to establish a party-government platform made up of the president, premier, DPP legislative caucus whip and party chairperson, to undertake policy brainstorming and reviews after taking office Wednesday.
