Taiwan donates 100,000 euros to Vatican for Iraqi, Syrian refugees

Taiwan donated 100,000 euros (US$126,927) to the Holy See as part of bilateral efforts to help Syrian and Iraqi refugees displaced by Islamic State militants, Foreign Minister David Lin said Wednesday after returning to Taiwan from a beatification ceremony for Pope Paul VI.
