The Canadian government has expressed the hope that an amendment to Taiwan's Act Governing Food Sanitation, which would relax the ban on United States beef imports containing residues of leanness-enhancing drugs, will also apply to Canadian products once it is passed, said Taiwan's envoy to Canada Monday.
