Commanding in chief of the Republic of China (ROC) Army Lu Kun-hsiu (呂坤修) honors soldiers inducted into Kinmen County's Taiwushan Cemetery Martyrs' Shrine on Saturday. Lu went to the Kinmen military shrine to observe the 67th anniversary of the Aug. 23, 1958 Taiwan Strait Crisis when China attempted to seize control of Kinmen and the Matsu Islands from the ROC.
