King Boat tour

A King Boat carrying deities enshrined in the She Ling Temple on Keelung's Heping Island is towed by a fishing boat on Sunday for an annual visit to several fishing ports in the city, offering fishermen blessings for a good catch. The She Ling Temple King Boat traveled back to Heping Island after the one-day tour and was then displayed at the temple, unlike many other religious events involving King Boats, which conclude with the burning of the boat.
