Taipei, Feb. 4 (CNA) An NT$6 (US$0.19) food delivery fee was the lowest spend among the 17 NT$10 million special prize-winning receipts in Taiwan's November-December uniform invoice lottery, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Wednesday.

The MOF released the winning invoice lottery numbers for the November-December period on Jan. 25. In addition to the most special prize, whose winning number was 97023797, the NT$2 million grand prize number was 00507588, while the three numbers for the NT$200,000 first prize were 92377231, 05232592 and 78125249.

According to the MOF, a total of 20 receipts won the NT$2 million grand prize during the period.

Speaking with reporters, Sung Hsiu-ling (宋秀玲), head of the MOF's Taxation Administration, said among the special prize winners, 10 spent less than NT$100 to win the NT$10 million special prize.

Another consumer spent NT$11 to rent a ride-sharing GoShare motorcycle and won the special prize, while another winning receipt of NT$23 was issued by a 7-Eleven convenience store located on Jingcheng Road of Taichung.

In addition, a consumer who spent NT$45 to buy rice wine in a Show Ba Department Store outlet on Jhongjheng 4th Road of Kaohsiung also won the special prize, Sung said.

Among the 17 special prize-winning receipts, the highest spending was recorded at NT$5,913 at a Costco store in Taipei's Neihui District after a purchase of items including cherries and clothes, Sung said.

The MOF said a total of 115 consumers won the special, grand and first prize as well as special cloud receipt prize worth NT$1 million. The combined prize value topped NT$234 million.

Among the 115 winners, 85 received their receipts through the cloud instead of a physical form, the ministry said.

For the November-December period, the MOF will also give additional NT$3.29 billion in prize money to other winners.

The MOF said the November-December winners have to claim their prizes from Feb. 6 to May 5.

The uniform invoice lottery, drawn every two months, was created to encourage consumers to collect sales receipts as part of efforts to prevent tax evasion.

The lottery is funded by 3 percent of annual business tax revenues, which are built into the prices of most goods and services under Taiwan's tax laws.
