Taipei, July 1 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell sharply against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, shedding NT$0.717 to close at NT$29.185.
Turnover totaled US$1.758 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at the day's high of TN$29.880, and moved to a low of NT$29.124 before rebounding.
