Taipei, May 23 (CNA) Holders of one NT$10 million (US$333,859) and two NT$2 million unclaimed winning receipts from Taiwan's January-February uniform invoice lottery are being urged to claim their prizes before July 7.
The winning number for the NT$10 million Special Prize in the January-February draw was 95980685, with five receipts matching that number.
The unclaimed NT$10 million receipt was issued for a NT$1,000 gasoline purchase at a CPC station on Yongfeng Road in Taiping District, Taichung, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement Friday.
Meanwhile, two of the 10 Grand Prize-winning receipts, with the serial number 37166026, remain unclaimed, the ministry added.
One was for a NT$60 purchase at a chain restaurant on Zhongshan Road in Taoyuan that serves traditional large intestine and oyster vermicelli (古早味大腸+麵線).
The other was issued for a NT$45 beverage purchase at the White Alley hand-shaken drink shop on Xinyi Road in Yunlin County's Lunbei Township, according to the ministry.
The uniform invoice lottery, drawn every two months, was introduced to encourage consumers to collect receipts as part of the ministry's efforts to curb tax evasion.
The ministry added that the next draw, for receipts issued in March and April, will be held on Sunday.
