A new rule that mandates all new motorcycle models manufactured after Jan. 1, 2019 to be equipped with either anti-lock braking (ABS) or combined braking system (CBS) is expected to cut traffic casualties by 30 percent, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) said Monday.
