Doctor attributes rise in asthma in Taiwan to air pollution

The prevalence of asthma induced by allergies in Taiwanese children has roughly doubled over the past 20 years, with air pollution the main culprit, pediatrician Chien Hsiao-yun (簡曉芸) said Sunday.
