March CPI rises on back of tobacco, vegetable price increases

Taipei, April 10 (CNA) A hike in tobacco and vegetable prices in March pushed up the local consumer price index (CPI) for the month, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Tuesday.
