Ting Hsin confirms plan to acquire cable operator CNS

Taiwanese conglomerate Ting Hsin International Group confirmed Monday that it has signed an agreement to buy a majority stake in local cable TV operator China Network Systems Co. (CNS) from South Korean private equity fund MBK Partners Ltd.
