Taipei, May 12 (CNA) Taiwan on Wednesday confirmed 16 more domestic COVID-19 cases, the highest number reported in a single day in the country since the outbreak began.

Meanwhile, four imported cases, including three from the Philippines and one from India, were reported, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
