Angry demonstrators throw shoes to protest KMT (update 2)

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the venue of the ruling Kuomintang's (KMT's) 19th National Congress Sunday, throwing shoes to express their anger at President Ma Ying-jeou and his party and demanding that he step down.
