Taiwan-Philippines friendship provides lessons amid war and strife: Envoy

The friendship between people in the Philippines and people in Taiwan is a "shining example" of humans living together peacefully in a world fraught with war and strife, Manila Economic and Cultural Office Chairman Silvestre Bello III said at an event held Monday to mark the 125th anniversary of Philippine independence.
