KMT's Huang Min-hui unseats DPP rival in Chiayi mayoral race

Former Chiayi City Mayor Huang Min-hui (黃敏惠) of the opposition Kuomintang declared victory in the city's mayoral race Saturday, beating incumbent Mayor Twu Shiing-jer (涂醒哲) of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) by a slim margin.
