Taiwan has achieved complete freedom of expression since the days of totalitarian rule, but that freedom is now under threat from China, Yeh Chu-lan (葉菊蘭), former vice premier and wife of pro-democracy pioneer Cheng Nan-jung (鄭南榕), said Saturday on Taiwan's Freedom of Speech Day.
