Tainan mayor ends boycott of city council meetings (update)

Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-te (賴清德) on Friday stepped into the Tainan City Council to give a policy report, ending an eight-month boycott of city council meetings to protest alleged vote-buying by speaker Lee Chuan-chiao (李全教).
