The nearly 80-year-old National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) will make its Japanese debut with concerts in Tokyo on Monday evening and Osaka on Thursday, featuring Taiwanese classical violinist Tseng Yu-chien (曾宇謙) and Latvian conductor Ainārs Rubiķis.
