Taipei, Oct. 16 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Thursday, gaining NT$0.009 to close at the day's high of NT$30.665.
Turnover totaled US$950 million during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$30.640 and moved to a low of NT$30.570 before rebounding.
