Taiwan student wins British award for creating LED pedestrian system

A student from Taichung-based Mingdao Junior High School has won a gold medal at the British Invention Show & Awards 2015 for his invention of a light-emitting diode (LED) light system for pedestrian intersection crossings that could enhance pedestrian safety.
