Visa gives green light to Chunghwa Telecom for mobile phone payments

Chunghwa Telecom Co., Taiwan's largest wireless carrier, said Thursday it has received a security certification from card issuer Visa Inc. for digital credit cards that use near-field communication (NFC) technology on smartphones.
