One more body found in toppled building in Hualien; death toll - 9

Taipei, Feb. 8 (CNA) Rescuers found another body - that of a hotel worker - Thursday morning in the ground floor lobby of Beauty Inn, part of the Yun Men Tsui Ti building that collapsed in the magnitude 6.0 earthquake that struck Hualien, eastern Taiwan, late Tuesday.

Hualien County's Emergency Operations Center said the dead was Chiang Chen-chang (江振昌), a staff worker of Beauty Inn where the bodies of five guests, including three Chinese tourists, had earlier been discovered.

With the latest find, the quake's death toll has risen to nine, with the injury list at 265 while 62 others remained unaccounted for, according to the center.
