NIHA to cut reimbursements for medical treatment overseas

The National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA) said Tuesday that starting next year, it will adjust the standard used to calculate the maximum reimbursement paid to Taiwan nationals who receive urgent or emergency medical care overseas.
