Hung assumes KMT leadership, vows to nurture young talent

Hung Hsiu-chu (洪秀柱), the first female chairperson of the Kuomintang (KMT), said Wednesday that she will nurture young members and rebuild a "combat team" that will help the beleaguered party rise again.
