KMT presidential candidate suspends campaign activities (update)

Ruling Kuomintang (KMT) presidential candidate Hung Hsiu-chu (洪秀柱) made an announcement on her Facebook page late Wednesday that she is temporarily suspending her campaign activities to engage in "deep self-reflection and meditation."
