The average regular wage in Taiwan rose 2.25 percent from a year earlier in March, after a 1.86 percent year-on-year increase in February, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said on Friday, but real wages are at the same level they were at 17 years ago, according to DGBAS statistics.
