MediaTek forecast to drop in global IC supplier rankings

MediaTek Inc. (聯發科), Taiwan's leading integrated circuit designer, is expected to see its position in the world's IC industry fall in 2015 from a year earlier in terms of sales, in the wake of slowing global demand for smartphones, according to market information advisory IC Insights.
