Taipei, Oct. 15 (CNA) Oscar-winning American actress and film producer Jessica Chastain will be one of the presenters at the 54th Golden Horse Awards Ceremony in Taipei next month, the organizers said Sunday.

In a press release, the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival executive committee said Chastain will present an award at the ceremony at National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall on Nov. 25, but it did not specify which award.

The American actress won a Golden Globe award for Best Actress in 2013 for her role in the movie Zero Dark Thirty.

The previous year, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the movie The Help.

She has also starred in high-grossing science-fiction films such as Interstellar in 2014 and The Martian in 2015, and has been commended for her work in the dramas The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (2013), A Most Violent Year (2014), Miss Sloane (2016).

Chastain, who was a jury member at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, will be visiting Taiwan for the first time for the Golden Horse Awards.
