Taipei, May 3 (CNA) The governor of China's Hubei Province, Wang Guosheng, is scheduled to visit Taiwan May 7-14 to attend a series of industrial cooperation and development forums, and visit various organizations and business operations.
He will arrive as the head of a 100-member delegation from the province, which will include Dongfeng Motor Co. Chairman Xu Ping and Deng Qilin, general manager of Wuhan Iron and Steel.
The delegation will visit several cities and counties during the visit, including Taipei, Kaohsiung, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan and Changhua County.
Wang will attend the opening of a Hubei-Taiwan week and the headquarters of the Chinese National Federation of Industries in Taipei. In Hsinchu he will visit a Hubei-Taiwan industrial cooperation and development forum, and in Taichung he will attend the Li Shizhen Chinese Medical, Cultural and Industrial Cooperation Forum.
In Tainan, he will visit the headquarters of Uni-President Co., while in Kaohsiung, he will meet representatives of Taiwanese small and medium-sized enterprises at a forum and will visit the WUS Printed Circuit Co., as well as farmers in the area.
The delegation will also visit several places popular with tourists, such as the National Palace Museum, Alishan, Sun Moon Lake and the Chung Tai Chan Monastery.
