Haikui moves off Taiwan, downgraded to tropical storm

Typhoon Haikui was downgraded to a tropical storm early Monday, as it weakened after passing over Taiwan's mountains when it made landfall the previous day, and it is now moving away, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
