Substandard Japanese crackers, Chinese mushrooms barred from entering Taiwan

Shipments of crackers from Japan and lion's mane mushrooms from China have been barred from entering Taiwan after being found by customs officials to contain excessive levels of heavy metal and pesticide residues, Taiwan's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported on Tuesday.
