
Taipei, Aug. 17 (CNA) The Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show, being held Aug. 20-23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, will showcase the latest in AI-driven robotics and automation technologies, the organizer said Sunday.
According to the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association, the event will highlight applications in smart manufacturing, as well as information and communications technology.
More than 1,000 companies will display innovations in semiconductors, electromechanics, industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, the association said in a press release.
Visitors can explore automated guided vehicles (AGVs), 3D machine vision systems, and AI-powered applications at the show, it said, along with a complete range of robots.
Exhibits will cover industrial robots and robotic arms, defense and security robots, home-use robots, specialized robotics, and educational robots.
Notable domestic participants include ASUS, Delta Electronics, TECO, Shihlin Electric, and Advantech, while international exhibitors will feature Mitsubishi Electric, Kawasaki, Fanuc, Denso, Yaskawa, Epson, Nachi, Panasonic, igus and Siemens, the association said.
In a separate press release, Delta Electronics said it will showcase collaborative robots and AI sensor modules as part of its intelligent robotics solutions, along with smart integration systems designed for warehousing, logistics, semiconductor manufacturing and data center operations.
Meanwhile, TECO said it will focus on key process control and high-efficiency smart motion applications as well as power system solutions and drone motors.
